Description
· Provides individual, family and group therapy, as well as case management, advocacy and referral/linkage to all clients.
· Provides assessment, treatment planning, advocacy, crisis intervention, and referral/linkage services.
· Provides group counseling services using prescribed group curricula (i.e. Anger Coping, SPARCS, SSGRIN) when applicable.
· Provides time limited individual counseling with emphasis on skill building and problem resolution.
· Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to master’s level student interns.
· Conducts intern evaluations and maintain related university relationships.
· Manages all agency expectations for case recording, statistical, and other documentation on a timely basis.
· Monitors school-level implementation of the SCOPES Initiative across assigned SCOPES Initiative sites.
· Provides classroom workshops, teacher/parent/community trainings.
· Coordinates clinical and case management services with school staff, teachers and parents.
· Attends required training as directed.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
· Master’s Degree in social work, required.
· Clinical Licensure (LCPC, LCSW, or other), preferred
Experience:
· At least three years post Master’s Degree experience working with children and adolescents.
· Prior experience working with children and families in a school and community setting.

· Sensitivity to cultural diversity is required. Ability to communicate and cooperate with diverse families, various professionals and community groups.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop professional partnerships.
· Demonstrates ability to engage complex and high risk clients, respond to frequent crises, and engage parents.
· Demonstrates ability to manage multiple responsibilities, maintain accurate records and prepare reports in a timely fashion.
· Understands and commits to the mission, goals and philosophy of the Agency.
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Competent in Microsoft Office tools and inputting services in an online database.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
· Must be able to frequently move inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
· Must be able to transport oneself to and from work visits.
· Occasionally ascends/descends stairs.
· Constantly moves to assist during program activities.
· Frequently moves desks, chairs, tables and easels.
· At times may be required to lift up to 25 lbs. for various classrooms and event’s needs.
· Frequently moves in outdoor weather conditions.
