Job Summary :

The Grill Cook is a critical member of the kitchen team, specializing in preparing grilled foods to the highest standards.

This role requires skill in grilling various types of meats, vegetables, and other ingredients, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to order and presented attractively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Grill Operation : Operate and maintain the grill station, ensuring it is clean, safe, and in good working order.
• Food Preparation : Prepare a variety of foods on the grill, including meats, vegetables, and other grill-specific items.

Follow recipes and presentation standards set by the kitchen.

• Cooking to Order : Cook items to customer specifications, accommodating special requests and dietary needs when possible.
• Quality Control : Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring that only the best products are served to customers.
• Cleanliness and Safety : Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Regularly clean the grill and surrounding area to prevent cross-contamination.
• Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory for the grill station, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
• Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and assist in other kitchen areas as needed.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of various grilling techniques and equipment.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong understanding of food handling and sanitation standards.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling food and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment.
