We are seeking an Accounting Services Professional to join our team to:

• Handle the day-to-day accounting transactions for clients; including bill pay, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll transactions
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly journal entries and closing of general ledger
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and the chart of accounts
• Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the financial condition of the firm’s clients, including analysis of results
• Timely follow-up with clients for missing information
• Prepare client sales tax returns, year-end 1099 returns, and property tax declarations
• Assist with special requests and projects as needed

• Ability to work independently with expanding duties and responsibilities
• Ability to develop relationships with clients and have strong client service
• Open to new ideas and a desire to try new technologies and processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines

Education and Experience

• Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred (or relevant experience)
• 1-2 years of bookkeeping or related experience
• Advanced QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online experience
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word & Outlook
• Experience with other general ledger packages is a plus
