SFMS is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Gaithersburg, MD
- Identify and Qualify potential Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Review drawings, design documents, and other bid specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs using On-Screen software or other software.
- Prepare Functional and Technical bid proposals.
- Provide a take-off for projects awarded, provide material submittals and budget sheets.
- Conduct weekly meetings with the GM to go over RFPs, bids, and upcoming projects.
- 5 Years’ Estimating experience in Construction Industry.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management.
- Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of proficiency in Adobe, Excel, and Word.
- On-Screen Take-offs and other platforms
- Must be computer proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred but not required).
- Starting Salary: $70K to $80K based on experience, Project Bonus Program, PTO, Vacations, Paid Holidays, and Health Insurance benefits.
