Skills and knowledge required include the following:
- Must be willing to travel via ground and air, both locally and regionally.
- Proficiency in software packages including Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Google SketchUp, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Newforma is a plus.
- Exhibit the visual skills and ability to understand and develop design solutions.
- Ability and understanding of three-dimensional forms and models.
- Ability to work with other team members and/or disciplines to coordinate interior features/responsibilities.
- Multi-tasking; prioritization of assigned tasks.
- Works with the design team to integrate the design concept with the rest of the project.
- Ability to coordinate selection of interior finishes/material, interior construction administration and installation.
- Must have strong presentation and communication skills for client interaction and decisions related to interior design.
- Participates in marketing efforts and presentations with potential clients.
- Possess knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of schematic design through construction drawings; ability to produce construction documents and write project specifications is a plus.
