Early Childcare Teacher: Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? Tiny Violets Childcare is looking for a patient and compassionate childcare teacher who has experience working with children in ages ranging from 6 weeks to 7 years old. Our teachers lead developmentally appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for all of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Teachers use Experience Curriculum through Brightwheel to foster a classroom environment of safety and respect and learning through play
• Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe
• Prepare and serve snacks 2 times during the day
• Keep parents and families updated on their students’ daily activities and progress

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED and at least 18 years of age, able to lift, pull & push 25 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods of time
• 1 years of experience working in Child Development or a related field.
• Ability to work creatively and flexibly

**Must be able to pass the government required background checks and fingerprinting process

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 completed ECE units
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience working in a play-based environment
• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus

Completion of required courses or alternate path requirements through PDIS
