Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. If you have a passion for cannabis sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and demonstrate product features
- Recommend additional items to enhance the customer's purchase
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in cannabis retail is preferred, ideally having knowledge of Metrc and Meadow point-of-sale system.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
