Seyer Industries is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Technician Near St Peters, MO

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Technician to collaborate with cross-functional teams, collect and analyze data, and utilize Lean or Six sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong problem- solving, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this position!

Duties:

  • Assist the Site Continuous Improvement Leader with executing lean initiatives to achieve strategic and tactical continuous improvement goals by carrying out manual action items.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to execute lean/6S projects. This role will focus on manual tasks such as painting floors, installing equipment/hardware, etc.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by utilizing and sharing knowledge of lean methodologies to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for performing lean activities, manual tasks, collecting and analyzing data, executing actions, and verifying effectiveness of continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist Maintenance with hands-on general housekeeping, machine maintenance, and other facility projects as assigned.
  • Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
  • Conform to Seyer Industries Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
