Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our team in Whiteville, TN. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals in our community. You will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess clients' mental health status.
• Diagnose various mental health disorders based on assessment findings and DSM criteria.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups using various therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Stay informed about developments in the field of psychology and participate in continuing education activities to maintain licensure and enhance professional skills.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing the practice of psychology, including maintaining client confidentiality and informed consent.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of two years of post-doctoral experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment services.
• Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and diagnosing mental health disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional integrity.
