Job Summary
The Property Maintenance Manager will perform general maintenance and repairs across multiple properties including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling , and other building systems.
Essential Functions
· Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
· Locate and manage subcontractors for major projects
· Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
· Moves and arranges furniture and equipment
· Cleans and assists with upkeep of properties
· Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
· 3 years in a property manager and/or maintenance technician position
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Knowledge of general carpentry and repair required
· Ability to use hand tools and power tools
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
