Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Blended Rate: $95 per hour |$3,800 weekly

Shift: 4x10s - 40hrs/wk - Days

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team in Rochester, NY. As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will be responsible for patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are maintained. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and advanced facility, serving the needs of a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• - Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• - Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• - Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assist with interventions as needed.
• - Operate sophisticated medical equipment and ensure its proper functioning during procedures.
• - Educate patients and their families about upcoming procedures and post-procedure care instructions.
• - Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including documentation of procedures, medications administered, and vital sign measurements.
• - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Requirements:

• - Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
• - Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Cath Lab setting, with a strong understanding of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• - BLS and ACLS certifications.
• - Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• - Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure and to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• - Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting medical equipment associated with the Cath Lab.
