Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures. This is a critical role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-procedure assessments and gather patient medical history
- Assist with the preparation and positioning of patients for catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate interventions as needed
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with the insertion and removal of catheters and other devices
- Operate specialized equipment such as sonography machines for imaging purposes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, medical records, and procedures

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NEW YORK State
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in a Catheterization Lab or related setting
- Experience working with children or in assisted living facilities is preferred
- Strong knowledge of catheter care, primary care, and emergency room protocols
- Proficient in medical documentation, including medical records and charting
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and other basic laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Pay: $3,685.00 - $3,830.00 per week
