Seven Counties Services is Hiring a Marketing Communication Specialist Near Louisville, KY

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Drafts Press Releases and Media Pitches to encourage growth of media relationships and public perception. Creates and manages written content sent and received through the All Staff Announcement email box, including scheduling, reviewing, and navigating the approval process to ensure proper execution and brand alignment of all marketing and communications efforts. Designs mission-driven written content to be used across a wide spectrum of channels including but not limited to social media, website, blog, and email at Seven Counties Services.

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or closely related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, communications, or content development position with a healthcare focus preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge and demonstrated execution across mainstream social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Youtube, Snapchat, and TikTok.
  • Proficient knowledge and demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite with expertise in InDesign and Illustrator and a working knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Spark and Acrobat.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to generate, interpret, and communicate data from statistical reports;
  • Takes initiative to solve problems.

  • Position has no unusual physical demands.
  • Typical office environment.
  • Involves discomforts from continual use of video display terminal.
