POSITION: MAINTENANCE STUDENT WORKER

REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

NORMAL WORK AREA: ALL BUILDINGS AND CAMPUS

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
1. High school diploma.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
1. General understanding of tools and their application.
2. Ability to follow specific instruction.

TRAINING TIME:
1. 90 days to learn details of the job.
2. 90 days to demonstrate the ability to function in a safe manner.

DUTIES AND OTHER JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES

1. GENERAL:

a. Assist with and preform set-ups for campus events.
b. Ability to drive a golf cart and back up a trailer.
c. Assist with general maintenance needs, replacing filters, changing
light bulbs, cleaning dryer vents.
d. Must be comfortable on ladders and can lift a minimum of 50 pounds
in a safe manner.

e. Perform any tasks assigned to them from the Maintenance staff.

2. SPECIFIC:

a. Provide support and assistance to maintenance staff with effective
and efficient communication.
b. Being consistent in their attendance.
