Job Description:

This position can be located in our Toledo or Cleveland office.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials surveys and air monitoring services for various clients located in the Midwest region.
• Write client reports that convey sound professional methodology, conclusions and recommendations.
• Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies including high-level public and/or private contacts.
• Performs other duties in direct relationship to the department operations.

Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

• A minimum of a two-year college degree, preferably in a related field.
• Experience in surveying sites for asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials, air monitoring, and/or mold investigations.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
• Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of public and private entities.
• Asbestos and Lead certifications highly desired.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Industrial Hygiene: 5 years (Required)
• Surveying, Hazardous Material, Air Monitoring: 1 year (Required)
• Mold Investigations, MS Office: 1 year (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
