SESAC Music Group is Hiring a Human Resources Business Partner - SESAC (West Coast) Near Vancouver, WA

SESAC is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team on the West Coast (in either Los Angeles CA, Portland OR, or Vancouver WA). As the HRBP you will support a high performing organization by working to ensure a positive, engaged, and respectful environment. You will provide human resources services to assigned employee groups, support a broad range of HR initiatives, and will work collaboratively with the HR team, managers, and business leaders to help drive the company’s strategic priorities and goals.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide trusting day-to-day human resource business partner support to assigned groups by working collaboratively with division leaders and managers to drive results through coaching, talent management, compensation strategies, learning and development, organizational design and effectiveness, employee engagement, change management, onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and client groups leaders to identify highly skilled and diverse talent cultivating a ready now pipeline.
  • Design presentations, produce reports, and use data and metrics to support program success/informed decision making, and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Identify, assess, and develop strategic partnerships with organizations that foster and support the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion goals.
  • Swiftly manage employee relations matters by providing guidance to managers and employees. Investigate and resolve any conflicts and issues to appropriate conclusions.
  • Provide compensation support for talent acquisition and ensure a competitive and fair rewards structure.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees through proactive engagement and providing supportive insights to maximize their performance and potential.
  • Provide HRIS and benefit administration support through a thorough understanding of our systems, industry benchmarks, and data analysis. Provide informed recommendations for benefit offerings and system integration/utilization based on research and analysis.
  • Manage a compliant and sound environment by using data to make informed recommendations to provide interpretation of HR policies, practices and procedures.
  • Special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned.

What Makes You Qualified:

  • 3 years of progressive experience working as a human resources business partner and knowledge in a broad range of human resources, including employment law, compliance, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management. California employment law and experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion concepts and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Success in managing projects, with attention to detail, in a complex global environment.
  • Experience and expertise in managing employee issues and investigations of moderate complexity in a timely, confidential, and sensitive manner.
  • An excellent track record of working with and developing teams and employees across race, gender, class, sexual orientation, and other group identities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • A strong sense of team and willingness to jump in and help out when needed.
  • Comfortable working with and learning new technologies.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to the changing demands of business as needs evolve.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now is a plus but not required.

The salary for this position will be based on several factors, including level of experience and the geographic region. This is a hybrid role that will require you to come into the office a minimum of three days per week.
