Job Description : The Warehouse Assistant is a hands-on position, which handles daily work orders. The Warehouse Assistant will pick, load, and unload contents and ensure items are organized and stored in a safe manner.

This position works closely with the warehouse manager and other warehouse associates.

Responsibilities :

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Manually move boxes and furniture in a quick and efficient method.
• Scan contents to track through the facility.
• Properly pad and protect warehouse contents to prevent breakage or damage.
• Work closely with warehouse associates to prioritize tasks.
• Communicate with managers and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Comply with company processes and policies.
• Conduct routine maintenance of the facility to include grounds cleanup, general cleaning of facility, general cleaning of company fleet, and organization and cleaning of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma / GED
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Regularly lift heavy items

Compensation : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
