National fire and flood remediation company looking to add Construction Purchasing Agent to our team!
The Construction Purchasing Agent will contract, buy out, solicit and quantify bids for our reconstruction projects. If you are self-motivated, organized and have outstanding purchasing skills, you could thrive in this environment!
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
- Interviewing vendors and visiting suppliers’ facilities to learn about products, services and pricing
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
- Collaborate and assist with other departments, as needed
Position Requirements
- 5 years of previous purchasing experience
- High school diploma/GED (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated
- Must be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000-$120,000/year
