Key Responsibilities

· Oversees the recruitment process in English and Spanish for new hires including reviewing resumes, setting up interviews, arranging pre-employment screening, scheduling orientation, and ensuring that all pre-hire paperwork and process is complete prior to start date.

· Acts as point of contact for new hires to answer questions and drive engagement throughout onboarding.

· Assists in scheduling appropriate orientation dates for new hires.

· Reviews pre-employment screening results and communicates with any outliers.

· Inputs initial profile in HR database.

· Proactively engages in interdepartmental communication to provide ongoing status of new hire onboarding and to ensure that onboarding flows smoothly.

· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and performance.

· Coordinate and administer ADP information payroll and benefits.

· Work with HR Manager to complete and document HR compliance.

Position Skills Needed:

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times.

· Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

· Very self-motivated and goal-oriented

· Ability to multi-task

· Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel).

· Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate® and proprietary software.

· Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired.

· Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Formal Education/Training.

· High school diploma/GED.

· Candidates must meet the company’s hiring criteria to include a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.
