SERVPRO of Huntvalley/Lutherville - 9695 is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Sparks Glencoe, MD
- Reaches out to customers/insurance adjusters to collect unpaid invoices.
- Prepares, reviews and sends monthly customer statements.
- Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
- Researches any customer account discrepancies.
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering corrections to customer accounts.
- Resolves customer accounts by examining payment plans and payment history to determine if collection letters need to be sent out on delinquent accounts.
- Review outstanding invoices and send data to collections attorneys, as needed.
- Researches and negotiates charge-back claims.
- Provide backup to support other Finance staff members.
- Support the month-end close processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level (to include V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and filtering).
- QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting.
