Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reaches out to customers/insurance adjusters to collect unpaid invoices.
  • Prepares, reviews and sends monthly customer statements.
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
  • Researches any customer account discrepancies.
  • Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering corrections to customer accounts.
  • Resolves customer accounts by examining payment plans and payment history to determine if collection letters need to be sent out on delinquent accounts.
  • Review outstanding invoices and send data to collections attorneys, as needed.
  • Researches and negotiates charge-back claims.
  • Provide backup to support other Finance staff members.
  • Support the month-end close processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level (to include V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and filtering).
  • QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting.
  • Analytically focused with sharp critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
