Primary Responsibilities
1. Customer and Client Satisfaction
a. Oversee and ensure customer and client satisfaction
2. Division Management
a. Monitor volume of work
b. Develop departmental budgets for General Manager or Owner approval
c. Assist in finding and vetting subcontractors
d. Manage all aspects of reconstruction division
3. Operations Management
a. Manage daily operations of reconstruction team.
b. Validate potential reconstruction leads
c. Assign leads/projects to project managers and superintendents.
d. Ensure reconstruction team follows proper work process.
e. Review and evaluate estimates created by project managers.
f. Perform tasks within the project management process to assist reconstruction team as needed (i.e. high volume, large project, etc.)
g. Assist project managers with budgeting and bidding.
4. Communication Management
a. Conduct weekly Work-in-Progress meetings with reconstruction team.
b. Ensure two-way communication with the mitigation division.
5. Team Management
a. Manage individual team members who work together to process reconstruction projects.
b. Train reconstruction team members.
c. Conduct periodic performance reviews with individual reconstruction team members.
d. Ensure employee compliance with all Company policies.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set
· Previous construction management experience.
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
· Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability.
· Effective written and oral communication.
Formal Education/Training
· High school diploma/GED
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites can be loud.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
