Responsibilities:
- Management of Accounts Payable functions
- Maintain file imports
- Processing weekly AP check runs and closing accounts payable system at month-end; running AP reports; interface of AP to GL
- Review monthly GL reports for accuracy
- Reconciliation of AP sub-ledger to GL account
- Preparation of 1099s
- Primary contact for AP issues and questions related to the processing of invoices and disbursing of funds
- Processing of check requests
- Team builder, supporter, and player with integrity. Dedication to serving the organizations goals and mission.
- Maintain a positive and professional work atmosphere and communicate with clients, customers, co-workers, and supervisors to build a professional working relationship.
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller, or his/her designee
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting and/or at least two years of relevant experience.
- Solid working knowledge of bookkeeping and budget processes.
- Fluent with various computer applications, including Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
