Human Resources Project Manager

We are searching for a Human Resources Project Manager to join our growing HR team in our Sandy Springs Headquarters. In this role you will manage projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans. You will be able to work with HR Leadership to lead and manage HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

What you will do:

  • Act as a business leader in all instances, with HR tools in their toolkit to enable the business to achieve (and over-achieve) its goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Experience developing and overseeing work plans and holding team members accountable for timelines
  • Implement change management strategies for HR initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to daily operations
  • Identify areas for process improvement within HR functions and recommend innovative solutions
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in HR processes.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor project performance and make informed decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting project milestones and outcomes.
  • Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with project implementation.
  • Provide broad-based human resources leadership tailored to the needs of the business adding value for the full employee lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to, acting as a coach and resource to leaders and team members at all levels.
  • Work across the organization to ensure optimal organizational structure both for the current organization and future organizational state. Anticipates and diagnoses organizational need(s) and translates those into talent actions for the organization.
  • Drive employee engagement, including effectively handling employee relations issues, identifying root causes and proactively remediating where possible.
  • Act as a touchpoint for all levels of assigned client groups. Answers questions, addresses concerns, provides support, and engages with all levels of employees. Handles operational activities, on-boarding, off-boarding, and other related activities for the client group.
  • Partner with stakeholders to lead the planning, development, communication, and implementation of the entire talent management process including but not limited to, performance management, calibration, compensation planning, IDP development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure roles are correctly defined for recruiting (including job description creation), and candidate selection is correct. It plays a crucial role in driving leadership to provide an effective employee onboarding experience.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 5 years of proven experience as an HR Project Manager
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices
  • Franchising experience a plus
  • Experience working cross-functionally to complete projects and achieve company goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and willingness to pitch in as an individual contributor is essential.
  • Strong PC capability (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate, coach, and influence at all levels of the organization, including the executive level.
  • Proven strong change management skills individually and across an organization.
  • Experience with organizational design.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to drive difficult conversations to effective resolution.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Visio a plus.
