Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request refills as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Skills:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Time management skills to prioritize work effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with coworkers and supervisors
Note: Previous experience as a janitor or in facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
