A Commercial Laundry Service Technician is responsible for :

• Removal / installation of commercial laundry and dry cleaning equipment at commercial locations or warehouses and unloading equipment from trucks (equipment may include washers, dryers, soap machines, etc.). Use of forklift, pallet jacks and hand tools, when needed.
• Diagnosing and repairing commercial laundry and dry cleaning equipment. Use of common hand tools, multi-meter, specialty hand tools (i.e. bearing pullers), common sense diagnostic processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose independently as well as with online and/or phone support. Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other equipment documentation.
• Testing and prepping equipmen prior to installation or following removal from a site.
• Complete work orders accounting for all time, work and inventory used
• BECOMING Certified and RENEWING Certifications with industry manufacturers after being hired
• Occasional overnight travel will be required.

Service Technicians also assist with installations as needed. Machine installation may require bolting machines down, grouting and other detail finishes such as leveling and testing machines and basic site clean up.

MUST be able to work independently and with others as well as be able to manage time and plan ahead, working both efficiently and effectively.

Monday - Friday with occasional overnight out of town - On call weekend and Holiday as needed (typically once a month)

Required :

• Able to push/pull/lift up to 50-75 lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist without restrictions
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Basic problem solving skills to move and hook up equipment
• Valid driver's license and excellent driving history
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to pass background check and drug test
• Neat appearance and professional manner
• Good working understanding of internet searches
• Customer service skills

Starting Pay : $14.00 - $20.00 per hour, dependent upon level of proficiency with the ability to increase base rate of pay as certified by manufacturers

Bonus / Commission available once fully trained.

Fully Trained technicians typically make $18-25.00 an hour
