The Plumbing Install Lead is responsible for leading installation teams that produce quality, on-time installation of plumbing-related jobs to meet the requirements of our customer agreement and in accordance with local plumbing codes. The ideal Plumbing Install Lead candidate will have a thorough knowledge of residential plumbing concepts. The successful candidate must be organized with great attention to detail. You should have exceptional multi-tasking skills and must be able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety of self and crew as well as safety of employer vehicles, equipment, and customer homes. 
• Works independently with little supervision in the completion of assignments 
• Periodically meets with Plumbing Manager, Plumbing Supervisor & Plumbing Admin to provide feedback, define issues and provide solutions within the plumbing department. 
• Works closely with Plumbing Supervisor to update individual employee job skills and task performance to maximize scheduling efficiencies and identify training gaps / opportunities. 
• Responsible for team job site performance according to company Ethics. 
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and technical manuals. 
• Liaison to assist in enforcement all company field policies and procedures with assigned team. 
• Trains and coaches all members to help build a stronger team 
• Demonstrates knowledge of plumbing repair and installation using standard tools, machinery, and equipment. 
• Demonstrates writing skills with a focus on technical accuracy, writing quality and clarity are also required. 
• Uses, applies, and monitors appropriate safety practices and procedures and reports violations to Plumbing Supervisor 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 - 4 years of previous residential plumbing experience 
• Profound knowledge of all plumbing installations 
• Ability to lead teams of installers to successful job completion. 
• Able to assist in evaluating assigned install team personnel on job performance and provide field coaching and as necessary. 
• Follows and demonstrates company policies with team members 
• Assist in finding solutions to field and office problems immediately 
• Effectively demonstrates communication skills with customers, install team members, dispatch, and management 
• Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens and physical. 
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear 
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs 
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk 
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus 
• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof) 
• Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time 
• Moderate exposure to physical risk 
• Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
