If you are looking for a career in Security, SERVEXO is where you want to be!Job DescriptionResponsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform security patrols of designated areas on footWatch for irregular or suspicious conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsSound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personsWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articlesPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances an exitsObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirementsInvestigate and prepare detailed reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activitiesProvide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMust be mentally alert, capable of exercising good judgment, implementing instructionsQualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (At least one of the following)One year of Full time paid experience as a Security guard, Security officer, Security aide, law enforcement officer, correctional officer, traffic officer, park ranger, firefighter, or Police student worker (with the City of Los Angeles), or (Military experience equivalent; MP, Patrol or Infantry)CA Guard CardPHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various dutiesStanding, walking, and sitting, minimal to no stooping or kneeling (running when necessary)Must posses good vision, depth perception, distinguish basic colorsGood hearing (Hearing aids may be used only with the approval of an examining physician)Additional InformationADDITIONAL:Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the StateMust be a U.S. Citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United StatesMust possess a valid Guard License, or have applied and subsequently be issued such a license prior to employmentMust have a California Driver's License and an issued vehicle or reliable transportationMust be able to pass drug testMust be able to pass background checkA High School Diploma or equivalent is highly desiredSome positions may require a valid California Driver's LicenseCan provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior Military
