JOB SUMMARY:

Patrol all parts of the property, vehicles, tenants and visitors. Make sure there is no suspicious activity happening around the property.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct Bike patrol rounds of looping the specified area and each level of the parking structure, scanning in at designated points, including patrolling the area surrounding the parking structure, and public sidewalks.
• Patrol park(s) to deter crime;
• Call the Police Department to respond to suspicious activity or crimes in progress
• Assist staff with agitated patrons as needed/requested by staff
• Assist staff in enforcing park policies as directed by staff
• Maintain watch over construction equipment.
• Maintain watch over office trailers and their contents.
• Perform inventory check on all the equipment at the beginning and end of shift.
• Enforce boundaries of site locations
• Act as ushers inside theatre and enforce theatre policies
• Secure areas to restrict public access; and
• Provide security for reservation groups of 100
• Enforce center reservation policies;
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have security guard card
• Proficient in the English language
• Shows mature judgment, reliability, dependability, tactfulness and self-control
• Ability to retain composure and perform under pressure and to know when to call for assistance
• Ability to meet and deal effectively with the general public
• Ability to give instructions clearly and concisely, firmly but diplomatically
• Ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate and detailed reports
• Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• Ability to wear and use all protective equipment
