Job Title: Cleaner
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
Skills:
- Experience in floor care, including buffing and waxing and plus
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good time management skills to ensure all assigned duties are completed within the designated time frame
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning procedures is a plus
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or as a porter/custodian is preferred
