Primarily, the entry level position works on oil changes, tires, inspections and light maintenance like filters and light bulbs.

A candidate for this position must be willing to get a State of Michigan Mechanic Training Permit or possess 1 state or ASE certifications. Whether you have a state certification or maybe already have skills like brakes, suspension, light duty engine or electrical, we'd like to make your acquaintance. Some basic hand tools are preferred. Must have the desire to become a certified technician. Attending automotive related education a plus. This position will likely lead to development over a period of 6-24 months that would allow advancement to other Brake & Alignment Plus or Serra automotive technician positions.
Compensation
Brake & Alignment Plus offers pay based upon experience. An entry level technician will move into a combination hourly plus bonus depending upon shop sales as skill level increases. With paid holidays, PTO and no weekends you can enjoy your family time! Career (and subsequently compensation) advancement depends on the individual, skill level and desire.

At Brake & Alignment Plus , we service a wide range of domestic and import vehicles which makes the job more interesting, fun and challenging. The pace at the shop isn't formal and we like to have fun. The Plus also represents the person who can grow into utilizing onboard diagnostic and shop-supplied specialty tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, HVAC and drivability concerns, taking the shop and the service we provide to the next level for our customers.
Job Requirements include:
Enjoy working as a team. Have a good work ethic. Experience working with hands.
Willingness to learn new technology, new repair and service procedures or specifications.
Be able to perform oil changes, swap tires or install new tires,

Maintenance inspections, replacing filters, replacing light bulbs, etc.,

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Possess a valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
