Serenity Step is currently seeking innovative, fully certified, and licensed professionals for job openings in Redford, MI. Candidates must be comfortable with early starting hours (8:00 AM). Please refer to the specific job requirements outlined below:
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking responsible and compassionate Case Managers to help locate applicable care and resources for our clients. The ideal candidates will take initiative in instituting case management services and communicating with clients in effective ways. Experience with persons with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorders is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in a related human services field (social work, psychology, criminal justice, etc.). CAADC, CADC or Development Plan from MCBAP.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Be familiar and comfortable with the culture and characteristics of persons with Substance Use Disorders and mental health disorders. Provide a welcoming and accepting environment in which this population and their families can receive services.
· Be able to multi-task
· Be confidential and a good listener
· Have effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $18.00-23.00
