Position Description

Serco-NA is actively seeking a motivated individual to provide conversion migration support to the United States Air Force Civil Engineering NexGen project. In this role, you will work with our dynamic NexGen team to support base migration deployment activities for the Air Force customer. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful design, analysis and development of software and conversion process solutions to the Air Force CE community across more than 200 bases worldwide. This position is 100% remote. 

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret clearance

In this role, you will:

• Work as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on product implementation, enhancement, integration or audit projects
• Demonstrate expertise on work efforts that are focused on the analysis of the customer's business goals, objectives, needs and the general business environment to solve technical problems
• Demonstrate familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures from a business perspective
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Perform a variety of complicated tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others
• Exhibit a wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Demonstrate expertise on troubleshooting and configuring TRIRIGA workflows, reports, and forms

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A U.S. citizenship
• An active DoD Secret clearance
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in data conversion/migration or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in TRIRIGA workflow configuration/development
• 3-5 years of experience in TRIRIGA loading data using tools such as DataConnect, Data Integrator, Integration Object, or Business Connect
• 3-5 years of experience in TRIRIGA creating reports
• The knowledge and understanding of the TRIRIGA admin console
• A strong understanding of Oracle database technologies, PL/SQL, and SQL skills
• A strong troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Experience with Putty and Linux commands
• Recent software or integration-related development experience, Java/JavaScript greatly preferred
• Experience evaluating customer requirements, performing detailed data mapping, and providing technical oversight of assigned projects
• Experience using SOAP XML based web service APIs or similar technologies.
• The ability to work with multiple internal and external organizations to resolve technical and other customer related problems, multitask, meet deadlines and set priorities.
• An excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• A strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills
• An understanding of Agile development methodology preferred
• The ability to travel 10%

 Additional desired experience and skills:

• Knowledge of Air Force CE Community
• IBM Certified Application Developer Certification required
• Experience working with federal government programs, particularly DoD
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $110,424.60 to $184,041.00; however, Serco considers several factors whn extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/traning, and key skills.
