Serco North America is Hiring a Remote Change Management Specialist - Washington, D.C. - Remote

Position Description

Are you looking for a Change Management Specialist opportunity at a place where you can make a difference every day? Discover this great remote opportunity within the Washington, DC/Arlington, VA area. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to help lead the change effort associated with the implementation of a new SaaS enterprise application across a civilian government agency. 

This requisition is for a potential opportunity contingent upon contract award and completion of drug and background check requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required.

The Change Management Specialist will leverage their experience with leading change for a large SaaS product implementation effort. They will utilize their in-depth knowledge of developing and implementing a variety of change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and successful usage and proficiency of the newly proposed SaaS products.

In this role, you will:

  • Apply a structured change management methodology, along with processes and tools to create a change management strategy to support adoption of the change required by the project. As part of the strategy define success metrics and plan for measuring and monitoring change progress. Develop associated plans such as communications and outreach plan, training plan, etc. in support of change management activities on the program.
  • Lead all change management activities associated with the implementation of the Saas application. Support and engage all levels of the organization from senior leaders and stakeholders to the end users.
  • Identify, design, develop, and implement key communications, and marketing and briefing materials to varying levels of stakeholders and users throughout the project life-cycle with ability to present to all parties as needed.
  • Continually assess the change impact through various techniques and approaches including conducting impact analyses and assessing change readiness.
  • Participate in project review cycles and coordinate and communicate identified challenges and approaches and track and report issues. Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics and anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the change.
  • Design, develop and deliver training programs that are targeted to the varying user populations to support the implementation of the Saas application.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • US Citizenship.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of leading change management efforts for large-scale, complex SaaS product implementation efforts.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Change Management concepts and techniques with ability to define, plan, and lead all change management activities necessary to achieve user adoption of a new system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Exceptional people skills with ability to lead/develop others and to promote a team environment.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to quickly analyze data/situations, draw relevant conclusions, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to Travel up to 10% as requested locally in Washington, D.C..

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Change management certification or designation desired.
