seoClarity is hiring a SEO Manager with 6 to 10 years of SEO experience to join the Professional Services team. This position is full-time and a great opportunity to join an expanding team as well as to collaborate with a variety of clients and internal teams (Client Services, Marketing, Professional Services, Product, Sales) while assisting in the creation of our Professional Services deliverables and driving advanced client SEO strategy and deliverables for a variety of industries and enterprise brands.
The SEO Manager's core responsibility is to own the execution and presentation of client deliverables including technical, content and link audits, and making strategic decisions that are tied to all SEO-related tasks and deliverables. In addition, the SEO Manager plays a central role in reporting and analysis-related tasks for clients, assists in client and internal team trainings, working with leadership on enhancing our core offerings for clients and works to ensure that deadlines are met.
The SEO Manager is the consultative point of contact for clients and internal teams providing SEO technical expertise and guidance. We are looking for a team leader that also provides hands-on technical and implementation expertise by delivering a combination of consulting and project management skills.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Act as the Professional Services point of contact for clients
- Provide SEO consultative services for clients: identify and provide recommendations for content and technical improvements
- Responsible for final review and approval of deliverables presented to clients
- Assist with escalation of team and client issues
- Participate in internal meetings to help add clarity around platform issues experienced by clients
- Ensure both internal team and client needs are met, and expectations are exceeded
- Train analysts and client success team in execution of common deliverables
- Update standard operating procedures, provide short-cuts to save on execution time and execute on target
- Partner with leadership regarding new industry tools, trends, and updates
- You have a minimum of 6 years of experience working in Search Engine Optimization
- Previous experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or any other analytic software
- Experience with dashboarding tools such as Data Studio, Tableau, and Domo are a plus
- Possesses the ability to understand complex technical concepts, and then train internal teams and clients on those concepts
- Experience running client and internal meetings and webinars
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- You must have experience with SEO platforms and tools (seoClarity, SearchMetrics, BrightEdge, Conductor, Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc.)
- Experience with other digital channels such as SEM/PLA and social paid ads a plus
- You have experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web design technologies
- Must be a team player and build good working relationships across all functions
- Ability to provide problem solving, management and be a true team lead celebrating the successes of your team and client satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to articulate technical issues in a meaningful way to both SEO/marketing teams and executive-level management
- You must be able to compare data and analyze tactics to maximize results
- Experience with site migrations, Single Page Apps (react, next, angular), and schema are ideal
