Sentara Health is recruiting a Vice President, Pharmacy Ambulatory to work in Virginia Beach, Virginia!

The Vice President, Pharmacy Ambulatory will:
Create and drive the execution of a cohesive vision, and short- and long-range strategies for growth and improved financial performance in the ambulatory pharmacy division.
Actively identify and pursue disruptive business groups that would benefit the performance of the ambulatory division.
Align with the Ambulatory pharmacy departments home divisional leadership to assure local culture adoption and goal alignment
Design and implement key strategic initiatives to build and improve upon all aspects of the pharmacy operations, including standardizing policies and procedures, and overall pharmacy consumer experience across the division of ambulatory pharmacy
Align use of technology and automation across system
Focus on employee engagement, leader development, and succession planning. Demonstrates a commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Ensure pharmacy compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
The Vice President, Pharmacy Ambulatory will posses progressive experience in health system pharmacy management (5 years) and clinical distributive pharmaceutical services. Experience in large Integrated Delivery Network highly desirable. Demonstrated experience implementing operational strategy involving different stakeholders (e.g, administrators, patients, clinicians)
