Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a Program Manager- PMO Center of Excellence (COE)

This is a Full Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Program Manager is a critical role within the Center of Excellence (COE) for the Sentara ePMO. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of their assigned Program(s) and/or services which will consist of multiple related Projects. They will be accountable for business analysis process development, documentation, training, and rollout. A critical element of the Program Manager role will be to coach Business Analysts in Requirements excellence. Provides advice, counsel, and insight to BAs and the Business on how to more effectively lead and manage requirements to completion. Serves as a champion and advocate for the Business Analysis Methodology and assist teams with adoption.

Required qualifications:

  • 8 years related experience in lieu of degree

    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required within 1 year of hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Open to any healthcare experience in clinical/hospital setting but Health Plan/MCO experience is a plus

  • Experience in Process Development and Improvement, Metrics and Reporting, Training and Communication, Quality and Audit and Tools preferred
