Work Shift
First (Days) (United States of America)- Schedule: Monday & Wednesday-8am-5pm, Tuesday & Thursday - 9:30am-6:30pm, Friday- 7:30-4:30pm
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
- Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred. 1
- year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.
- For Hampton Roads Outpatient facilities only - Must obtain Direct Access certification within one year of hire for those with a BS or MS degree
As aPhysical Therapist (PT)with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. This position's primary duties include transferring, ambulating, assisting with exercises, gait training, stair climbing, and balance.
