Sentara is currently hiring an In-Patient Clinical Dietitian in Northern Virginia

This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity with GREAT BENEFITS!!!

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for managing patient's medical nutrition therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards.

Also, serves as a resource for nutrition education.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics is required.

If Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.

If not Registered Dietitian or RDN at hire, must obtain within 9 months.

BLS required within 90 days of hire

We provide safe, competent evidence-based nutritional therapy that meets the scope of practice per the Academy of Nutrition and Dieteticsand in accordance with the medical staff-approved clinical practice standards.We workcollaboratively with the health care team, food service department, and other nutrition professionals.

If not Reg Dietitian or RDN at hire, must obtain within 9 months. PACE specific incumbents for this position require a minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population. BLS required within 90 days of hire
