Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Executive Director, Business Operations.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is a in person (Fort Norfolk location).

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's Degree required.
  • 5 years business acumen / business unit experience required.
  • 5 years healthcare management experience required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Financial acumen experience preferred.

Expectations for this Role:

Sentara Health is seeking an Executive Director, Business Operations. This director will be responsible for two divisions (ortho and plastic surgery), as well as activities that relate to the future growth of the Orthopedics and Plastics divisions.

Additional Expectations:

  • Understand Sentara and learn the organization while partnering with hospital partners.
  • Execute strategy for both divisions.
  • Situational Adaptability.
  • Communicates Effectively.
  • Builds Effective Teams.

This role will manage a team of 85 total staff within both divisions.
