Communications Specialist

for Sentara Health Plans Virginia Beach, VA

Job Summary:

Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing, public relations and communications projects and events that build the Sentara Health Plans image and support the company's strategic and marketing goals. Direct interaction with vendors and brokers and GAs to foster and build relationships.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in BusinessAdministration/Management or Marketing or Mass Communications or Public Relations or English required

Job Requirements:

• 4 years of Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or related field OR 2 years of internal company experience required.
• 1 year of Healthcare experience is preferred.

This position will be remote, with an option to work in the office 2-3 days a week if desired. Occasional in-office work may be required on an ongoing basis.
