Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Information Technologies to spearhead our IT department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing our technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment with our aggressive expansion goals, particularly through mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the organization's growth objectives and operational needs.

Lead and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the integration of IT systems and operations across new and existing facilities, ensuring compatibility, efficiency, and scalability.

Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement technological solutions that enhance patient care, staff productivity, and overall organizational efficiency.

Manage vendor relationships and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.

Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data and IT systems, adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Drive the adoption of new technologies and digital initiatives that enhance the patient’s experience and operational efficiency.

Lead IT due diligence, planning, and integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Industry experience and professional certifications may substitute.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting or related industry.

Proven track record of managing IT operations and teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, preferably with experience in mergers and acquisitions.

Strong understanding of healthcare IT regulations and standards, including HIPAA.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and driving change.

Strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving ability and a focus on innovation.

Proficient understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks for effective IT service management, and experience overseeing support systems and helpdesk operations.

Solid experience in integrating a wide array of systems and technologies, including legacy systems and new innovations, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.

Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, risk management practices, and disaster recovery planning, along with an understanding of current cybersecurity threats and countermeasures.

In-depth understanding of network design principles, including LAN/WAN architectures, cloud services, and data center management, to support a robust and scalable IT infrastructure.
