Senior Nannies Homecare is Parent Company to Senior Care Solutions Agency in the State of Florida. Our Tampa Office is expanding and we are looking for Medicare visit nurses which we can keep in your vacinity of choice. We are a professional and innovative company and our goal is to Provide Care to All Who Need Care AND provide our nurses with choices on when, where and how they choose to work. We have Medicare, Medicaid and Private Duty Cases within the Company for all Florida nurses from Jacksonville to Miami and on both coasts. (We do not operate in the Panhandle or The Keys)

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate LPN's to provide visits to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage patient care

- Perform specialized procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, and medication administration

-Document observations accurately

- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques

- Some experience in providing care for adults, and geriatrics

- Proficient in performing clinical procedures such as catheter care and wound dressing changes

- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient needs

- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand the impact of diseases on the body

- Familiarity with case management principles to coordinate patient care effectively

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy

Qualifications:

- Valid nursing license in [Florida]

- Minimum [1] years of nursing experience in areas such as assisted living, internal medicine, or geriatrics

- CPR certification required

Pay: $27.48 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
