Job Requirements

  • Apassion for helping seniors
  • A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the community’s Memory Care Program whilemeeting or exceeding the community’s service standards and program goals andphilosophy
  • Assess residents in the Memory Care Program to understand their individualneeds in collaboration with family members
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal andlocal regulations and set the standard of excellence of the Memory CareNeighborhood and the community, demonstrating respect and compassion of theresidents, their families, staff, and visitors
  • Coordinate resident activities of memory care,care planning, and quality improvement, and infection control
  • Leadsthe Care team by treating the staff and residents with a high level of respectand dignity

Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year experience in managing amemory care environment
  • Knowledgeof Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia and ability to manage andcoordinate multiple and diverse tasks and services
  • Education: College degree
  • Valid driver’s license
