Senior Living Communities is Hiring an Activities Assistant Near Salem, NC

Homestead Hills is now accepting applications for an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Leader. This individual will assist with the planning and execution of life enrichment activities for residents of our Assisted Living, Memory Care and/or Skilled Nursing. Successful candidate will have professional experience in planning and implementing group activities and preferably training or experience in working with seniors.

Education:

CPR and AED certification required (must be attained in first 60 days of employment).
Specialized dementia training/certification desired; we will facilitating training to be a Certified Dementia Practitioner within first three months of employment) if successful applicant does not already have

Experience:

1-2 years' experience with geriatrics preferred.
1-2 years' experience in a similar activities position required.
