- Assist in month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Compile and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess the financial health and performance of the organization, including profitability analysis, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Identify key drivers of financial performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for improvement.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing budget models and projections.
- Monitor budget performance and provide insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
- Direct internal and external financial audit processes and ensure that financial controls and policies are followed.
- Prepare cost reports and analyses to track and monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
- Work closely with operational teams to understand cost drivers and develop strategies to control costs and improve efficiency.
- Complete A/P, A/R, or other functional responsibilities of team, as needed.

- Three to six years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to delegate and support team in maintaining accountability.
- Understanding of how to set and use goals to inspire all direct reports.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple direct reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
- Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations.
- Able to effectively multitask.
- Strong understanding of reporting and financial systems.
- Strong understanding of excel.
- Three or more years’ experience in an Accountant level role.
- CPA or CMA
- Experience with Accounting systems/ERP integration and implementation.
