Job Summary
Passionate about environmental sustainability and workplace safety? Join us for an enriching summer internship experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)! Help support the Loss Prevention team with Food and Workplace Safety projects and initiatives. Gain first hand experience conducting internal food safety audits in a business often used for standardization practices by local EHS agencies.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting Food safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support the development and implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of EHS training programs for employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Conduct research on emerging EHS trends and best practices.
• Assist in the stores as needed
• Assist with all other Loss Prevention Department duties as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Passion for environmental stewardship and workplace safety.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations and standards is a plus.
