The New York State Senate Republican Finance Committee is seeking candidates for a Budget Analyst position. The Analyst will be expected to conduct analytical functions related to the annual State budget proposal as well as legislation that has been introduced in the Senate Finance Committee and other assigned committees.
Essential Functions:

• Provide analysis of Executive budget, independent house budgets and enacted budget materials for the Conference.
• Provide support analysis for Conference members who are attending committee meetings, joint fiscal hearings and floor proceedings.
• Brief legislators on proposed legislation as well as independently research various information sources and public record databases to collect and analyze data to determine potential impacts on affected entities across NYS.
