Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our team. The Service Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service technicians while providing job order updates to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process inbound customer emails and service technician calls
- Provide informative and proactive customer service
- Schedule and coordinate service calls within department guidelines
- Create work orders and supporting documentation to complete service request
- Monitor technician workflow and job site progress
- Follow-up with service technicians, service managers and account managers regarding work orders, call-backs and paperwork
- Monitor and document GPS on service technicians and provide accurate estimated time of arrivals
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the department supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of recent work experience in dispatch, customer service or an administrative assistant role
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Strong time-management skills
- Must possess accurate data entry skills with the ability to type 40 WPM
- Construction knowledge in plumbing, electrical or construction is desired but not required
