Sellers & Associates, LLC has an opening for a Model Based Systems Engineer II in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize model-based engineering methodologies to design and develop complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architectures.
• Create and maintain system models using industry-standard tools (e.g., SysML).
• Conduct analyses and simulations to validate system models and assess performance.
• Generate and maintain system documentation, including models, diagrams, and specifications.
• Participate in system integration and testing activities.
• Provide guidance on model-based engineering best practices to project teams.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in model-based engineering.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• 3 years of profession experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering principles
•  Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering
•  Knowledge of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)
•  Experience with coss-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environment or equivalent (e.e., MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, Systems Architect, etc.) which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of sytesm in standard-compliant models and diagrams
•  Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF)

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations research, or other sciences where the utilization of advanced math skills is required (e.g. business, math, statistics, and probability)
