Job Description:

• Provide configuration management planning.
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, status accounting and audits.
• Regulate the change process and incorporate changes across SOW’s, CDRL’s, specifications, and system documents.
• Plan, write, adjudicate specification and design comments. Analyze stakeholder comments and requirements.
• Facilitate inter-organizational development and coordination of requirements documents.
• Document, analyze, trace and prioritize requirements. Integrate and trace requirements and relationships.

• Leads requirements management and tractability efforts for shipbuilding program and provides detailed advice and direction to senior leader on improving requirements management programs.
• Oversee requirements management and traceability, conduct feasibility studies, and provide documentation of design and change results.
• Trace requirements; provide input to specification development, write, and incorporate comments.
• Document and manage changes to specifications, documentation.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

• 10 years' experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience administering and maintaining a requirements documentation related to a defense program.
• Required IBM Rational Dynamic Object Orient Requirements Systems (DOORS) certification.
• Documented experience with web-based collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint).
• Additional certifications, such as PE License, PMP, DHS Systems Engineering Certification, or DHS Program Management Certifications, preferred.
• 1 year of experience related to federal ship or boat building acquisition programs required.
• Experience with ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs preferred.
